Elijah Rusk is the CEO of Sandman Syndicate Media. Mr. Rusk is the former Arizona State Director for the American Conservation Coalition, a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization dedicated to mobilizing young people around environmental action through common-sense, market-based, and limited-government ideals. He was appointed to his role by, and works directly with, Forbes 30 Under 30 American Conservation Coalition National President Benji Backer. The American Conservation Coalition has been recognized by The Hill, The American Conservative, Real Clear Markets, Washington Examiner, The Independent UK, National Review, Politico, The New York Times, The Telegraph UK, Fox News, CNN, and The Today Show. Mr. Rusk has also worked for two of the biggest, most influential public relations firms in the nation.

Mr. Rusk is also a Co-Founder-Appointed Advising Fellow for Plastic Bank (Plastic Bank is a social enterprise recognized by Bloomberg, Forbes, CNN, National Geographic Magazine, and The United Nations), and advises both the Co-Founder and CTO as well as the Founder and CEO on Blockchain Regulations and Public Policy in developing countries in different international political landscapes. Plastic Bank pays individuals in third-world countries for plastic pollution that they collect with a blockchain-utilizing cryptocurrency that Plastic Bank itself created; it then sells that plastic pollution, which through its process becomes “Social Plastic,” to major corporations, such as SC Johnson (which now uses Plastic Bank’s social plastic to produce its Windex bottles).

Mr. Rusk’s conviction and motivation to make our world a better place in substantive ways is further manifested in his being an Advising Fellow for the Global Livingston Institute and Advising Youth Entrepreneurs. Moreover, he has been bestowed with two State of Arizona Commendations by Governor Ducey for his “great leadership...passion...and... high standard for civic duty” demonstrated through all of his laudable work.
